Haven’t you heard that before? It sounds like a curse word but it isn’t, I mean the name Jesus Christ isn’t a curse word. The Bible says it’s the name of the One through whom all things seen and unseen was created; it’s the name for which all knees will bow down and confess that He is Lord. It’s the name by which we are saved and there is no other name in heaven or on earth by which we can be saved.
Such irreverence has not been shown to any other name… ever, if it was; we probably would have lot of bloodshed and killings because of hurt sentiments. Bible says that everyone one day would have to give an account of everything that they have uttered….everything!
I don’t write this to criticize the wrong use of the name of my Lord but rather I feel sorry for the people who so nonchalantly use it as a profanity and maybe one day will realize what they do.
